Nestled in the heart of the prestigious Saint-Émilion appellation on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, Château Darius is a boutique winery that blends tradition, passion, and family heritage.

Château Darius is a family-owned estate located in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, within the prestigious Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation of Bordeaux, France. Established in 1990 by Michel and Odette Pommier, the estate spans approximately 6.6 hectares and is planted with 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc vines, some of which are over 50 years old.

The name "Darius" honors both a Persian king from 500 BC and a family member, reflecting the Pommiers' Iranian heritage. The wines of Château Darius are characterized by their elegance, structure, and expressive fruit profiles. The estate maintains low yields of 35–40 hectoliters per hectare and employs environmentally friendly viticultural practices.

Since 2019, Château Darius has embraced digital platforms and has organised many events wordwide to connect with a global audience, leading to collaborations and recognition with notable figures such as Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and French President Emmanuel Macron. Committed to sustainability, Darius continues to work alongside his grandmother, ensuring that the family's winemaking legacy is preserved while also embracing innovation.
